Tree Surgeons in the Eden Valley
Tree surgeons for homes, farms and estates along the River Eden, from east of Carlisle up toward Penrith.
Where we work
Tree Services Across the Eden Valley
We carry out tree surgery, riverside tree work, site clearance and forestry, with a free site visit and a written quote before any work starts.
- Tree surgery for gardens and larger rural plots, including crown reduction, tree pruning, dead wooding, tree felling and stump grinding.
- Emergency tree removal after storms.
- Forestry services for estate woodland, shelterbelts and riverside planting.
- Site clearance for overgrown ground, field margins and drainage channels.
- Utility works to keep vegetation clear of overhead lines.
- Firewood from the timber we take down.
Riverside work comes up often in the valley. Willows and alders along the Eden grow quickly and can undercut banks if left alone. Work within eight metres of a main river usually needs Environment Agency notification, and we advise on this before any riverside job starts. Ash dieback is also common in the roadside hedgerows and woodland edges of the Eden Valley, and diseased ash near roads, paths or buildings often needs to come down for safety.
