Tree felling is the complete removal of a tree at its base. Where space allows, this is carried out as a straight fell. In residential gardens and on sites near buildings, we use sectional dismantling, the tree comes down in controlled sections using rigging and lowering equipment. Nothing falls uncontrolled.
Common reasons are dead or dying trees, structural damage after storms, root systems cracking foundations or lifting paving, trees that have outgrown the space and can no longer be managed through pruning, and insurance claims following storm damage.
NPTC certification means every operative has been assessed against the national standard for chainsaw and aerial tree work. CHAS accreditation covers health and safety requirements, relevant for landlords, estate managers and commercial clients.
